Trauma Testimony Discourses: Genre Patterns and Innovation

Trauma Testimony Discourses: Genre Patterns and Innovation

The main objective of this Conference is to shed light on Trauma Testimony Discourses (TTD) as a genre. Testimony is a discursive attempt to communicate the addressor’s real-life experience to an addressee. Our hypothesis is that acts of testimony engender particular practices of writing that can be conceptualized in terms of genre.
